It's been so hot in Goa that I've preferred to stay inside working hard on my blog and freelance writing. But the last few days the rain has started to come, the seas are rough, the beaches are empty and the shacks are down but the lower temperature are nice and refreshing.

I love watching the crashing waves and first of the monsoon rains but in a few days Ill be heading back to the UK and looking forward to seeing family and new adventures spending the summer in Europe. I think it looks like a pink cupcake! What do you think? So quiet in Goa now but I'm loving it! Enjoying Summer in Goa. The heat is the perfect excuse to stay home and chill and get work done and it's still warm enough to swim at sunset. Shanti, shanti, lazy summer Goan days. It's really easy to rent a motorbike in Goa but I'm hoping and dreaming that I can save up and buy my very own one day!

It's pretty hot in Goa now but it's nice that the crowds have gone and the beaches are emptier now. Some of my favourite spots in Goa are up on the hills where you can take in stunning views over the beaches away from the crowds. Indian food in India is so so different from what you find in curry houses in the UK. In the UK Vindaloo is too spicy for me but I love it here in Goa where it's from as its not so spicy here, or maybe they just tone down the spice for foreigners, or maybe I just got used to it.
